That's a really good point!

It goes back to the fact that it's designed for OLAP workloads, where you usually query large amounts of data infrequently. So the slow response time, and 10MB minimum cost per query (which has to be said, is still only $0.0001) wouldn't be a problem. But if you use it for OLTP workloads then both the latency and cost might become an issue.
