In this case, I’m simulating a communication from one microservice to another. In the real thing that this demo mimics, get-followers belongs to another relationships microservice. Hence the API Gateway in front of it. But for the purpose of deploying a demo app, it just doesn’t make sense to make that split in the code & repo.
